  1st Day :      
CUSCO - 82 KM. (START CAMINO INKA)
After breakfast. Transfer by bus to the km 82 where we will start the Inca Trail. The first contact with an archaeological site is LLACTAPATA with its terraces and rooms where will eat the lunch. We will continue trekking along the valley, gradually climbing for about five hours until we reach our first campsite in the valley of WAYLLABAMBA, arrival and camping. Dinner. Overnight.

  2nd Day:    
HUAYLLABAMBA - PACAYMAYO:
After the breakfast we will start our walk climbing to HUARMIHUANUSCA (Dead Woman's pass) 4,200 m.a.s.l. the highest point of the trek. Lunch. From there, we are able to see all the trail that we have to follow, as well as the valleys already crossed. Descending until the PACAYMAYO Valley ('Sunrise' Valley), the second campinsite. That night will be the coldest of the trip. Arrival and camping. Dinner. Overnight.

  3rd Day:      
PACAYMAYO - HUINAYHUAYNA
Start the excursion ascending to the second highest point (3,900): RUNQURACAY, descent until the next archaeological site of the trail SAYACMARCA ('Dominant Town'). Lunch. Then, we reach the beautiful ruin of PUYUPATAMARCA ('Town above the clouds') about 3650 m.a.s.l. Camping in HUINAYHUAYNA. Dinner. Overnight.

  4th Day :      
HUIÑAY HUAYNA - MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO:
Early in the morning we start the last part of the trail toward to MachuPicchu. We will reach INTI PUNKU (The Sun Gate) where our effort will be rewarded with an unforgettable spectacle, MACHUPICCHU 'The Sacred Citadel'. We will see the Palace of the Princess, Temple of de Sun, and much more. We will be a completed guided tour of the citadel. At propoer time, take the bus to Aguas Calientes. Lunch. By the afternoon return by train to Cusco and transfer to the hotel. End of services.

WE RECOMMEND YOU TO BRING THE FOLLOWING PERSONAL EQUIPMENT FOR INKA TRAIL:
A small day pack. Sleeping bag. Trekking shoes. A wind jacket and rain gear. Sweater and jacket for cool days or nights, gloves and winterhat. Warm sweat pants for evening around camp and in tent. One complete change of clothing per day (trousers, socks, T-shirts, and underwear). Personal toiletries and medications. Sunglasses, sun hat, sun and insect lotion, camera, water bottle.
